4 UK Stop Motion Projects Among 20 Pitches at This Year’s ANIMARKT Stop Motion Forum
After an overwhelming number of submissions for this year’s Pitching competition, Animarkt Stop Motion Forum have announced the 20 projects which will be taking part; 10 short films, 5 feature films and 5 TV series.
Of the 20 International projects, 4 will be coming from (or forming a co-production with) the United Kingdom. In the Shorts category, Ovary-Acting will be pitched as a Norway/United Kingdom/Sweden co-pro, while UK director Roos Mattaar, will be pitching Season Cycles.
Hot off the heels of his recent stop motion short Salvation Has No Name, Joseph Wallace will be competing in the Feature category, pitching his feature film project The Vandenberg Sisters. While in the TV Series category, Erica Angell and Tom Angell of Eagle vs Bat will be pitching their co-pro series The Sound Collector along with Italy’s Enanimation.
